Thanks Dad. Thanks for letting us fiddle with your tools and make an absolute disaster zone of the garage and your life. Thanks for just sighing and looking at the ground, then shrugging when we ransacked your toolbox and spread nuts, bolts, nails, wood scraps, and sawdust all over the yard. Thanks for teaching us how to use tools and put things together. Thanks for teaching us, all the while knowing full well you were giving us just enough knowledge to be dangerous to what could have been your neatly organized, kid-free workshop had you kept us out of there. But the memories we gained from those good times are worth more than all the brand new tools in all the Home Depots in America!!!
Thanks to you, I actually fixed a leak in our sink BY MYSELF!! I figured out where the leak was (the gasket and putty around the strainer), researched on the internet what type of tools and materials I would need, went to Home Depot and got the parts without having to ask for any help, came home and fixed it!!!
Thanks Dad. Love ya!!
