Wow!! Bad me, again. Here I am, two months after my last post. I'm ashamed, I have to admit. Well, the war has gotten neither better nor worse...in fact I see very little of the war at all, if you want to call it that. I am coming home on leave in FIVE days so even if there was a war raging all around me I would still just be looking at my watch counting down the days!!! Well, if all goes as planned I will see a whole lot of people who I love very much and will spend 18 days being happy.
Top 10 things to do at home:
1. Eat mom's homemade bread with grandma's jam
2. NOT wear my uniform at ALL
3. Go to church with the fam
4. Eat Kevin's dad's homemade Thai food
5. Ride in my Volvo, preferably with me driving
6. Play my violin (probably very badly)
7. Play the piano (also, probably very badly)
8. Swim and the Arcata pool
9. Go to Los Bagels
10. Wear my hair down
There are so many more to list it's ridiculous...I could go on forever!!! I'm really looking forward to coming home. The countdown begins!!!
