I am now totally comfortable with fueling up the VW...that is no longer a dramatic event.
The weather has been great here in NC the past couple of days. It's humid, of course, but it's sunny and warm, and it just reminds you of another time...like being in a time warp kind of. There was a wasp in the house today and woah!...talk about a dramatic event!! I had to cleverly open up the window without getting too close, then wait for him to figure out how to go outside...I didn't want to swat at him and make him mad...my house is VERY small and he would have no trouble chasing me down and stinging me to death. I just sat on the couch and watched his antics...it took him 30 minutes to figure out that the glass didn't cover the whole window. That was so annoying. That was the most exciting thing that happened to me all day besides polishing the VW hubcaps.

I am so happy that you had 30 minutes to watch the wasp. That means you're not in iraq anymore and that makes me happier than anything in the world.
DUDE!!! RACHEL!!!! good to freaking hear that you are doing so good. im at hannahs house and i was reading your recent blogs and laughing so hard. its almost 6 im the morning so everything is even funnier that it usually would be. we didnt get here until 430am. its a freaking long story. ill blog everything that happened. but before i went to bed i had to see how you were doing! keep it real. naomi
