Jess. Dude. I got a tv. It's only for watching DVDs...I REFUSE to hook up the cable. SGT Battles and Le were like, oh now you have to get an xbox and I was like get out of my room RIGHT NOW!!!!! It' the same tv as the one I have in my room, a little bigger. I got a dvd player and some speakers too. I am such a retard. I went to the px to get a tv and some speakers. I don't know what the hell i'm looking at so I get the only lcd tv they had, and the dvd player and spekers that were right there next to it. Dropped about 800 bucks altogether, but I was like, well I guess that's how much stuff like that costs, and I know we'll take good care of it and I can just sell it when we leave. SoI got them, and I thought wow, the box of speakers seem kinda big. So I bring it back and Sgt Battles comes out to the vehicle to help me carry it and he's like laughing so hard and I'm like what! what's so funny! and he's like, dude, you bought a surround sound system! I guess what I thought was just a dvd player and two speakers ended up being some home theater surround sound bullcrap. It took me three hours to set it up. I put two speakers up in the corners and a couple on top of the ac. I put the fridge between my locker and my bed, and the field desk where the fridge used to be and the tv and dvd player on top of that. I made a cover for the tv out of an old pillowcase to keep the dust off. Our room actually looks bigger now, cause I put my plastic drawers in my locker. I put the trunk for our IBAs under my bed next to the fridge. The dvd player has a hookup for an mp3 plyer so you can listen to music without the tv on. It's awesome. I never would have bought it f I knew what it was, but after I set it up I was like this is awesome! I actually like it better for the music than anything else. Anyways, that's what you get for leaving me...I buy stuff that we don't need!
