I like to think that I could write a book, then every time I start one, I quickly come to the disappointing realization that I can't, and I don't know if it's that I just lack the discipline to keep writing till it's done, or that I don't have enough experiences yet to make a story that means something. Then I get to thinking: maybe every person who has ever written anything worth reading had the same feelings of inadequacy and inability in the beginning, but whatever was inside of them was so strong and so determined to get out that their self-percieved shortcomings could no longer hold it in. Hmmmm.
